Joy with Wings: A Daughter’s Tale
Travel through the delights and occasional mishaps of a child’s worldview, tumble into a young adult’s view of her family falling apart and finally land in the world of the grounded woman of today. Her deep understanding of her mother’s love and her own love as a mother embraces her very approach to life, encapsulated like her beloved chrysalis and its emerging butterfly. Departing from our typical Canterbury Tales repertoire, Joy with Wings draws old-world wisdom into contemporary experience. The resulting pilgimage of self-understanding and acceptance takes the audience on a journey of laughter, music and poignant reflection.
(1 actor; 75 min playing time)

What Women Most Desire: Wife of Bath’s Tale (only)
Alison, the Wife of Bath dares to raise the question – and has the audacity to answer! – what do all women love the best? In her vivid tale from King Arthur's Court, with faeries and a fearsome crone, a knight races against time to save his own life when the imperious Queen Guinevere sends him on a desperate quest to discover the elusive answer to man's greatest mystery: WHAT IS IT THAT WOMEN MOST DESIRE?

A Pleasure Doing Business: Shipman’s Tale (musical comedy)
In this medieval musical bedroom farce, a merry-go-round of favors between a wealthy merchant, his darling wife and his friend the monk, leaves most of the players somewhat deceived but all delightfully satisfied.

Chanticleer & the Fox: Nun’s Priest’s Tale (musical comedy)
What happens when you get humans playing chickens playing humans, add a fox, some seasoning of British panto, and stir in some music?  A LOT of fun! A delightful musical barnyard romp with the hen-pecked Chanticleer and a flattering fox, in which portentous dreams and philosophical chickens make for a rousing – or roosting – tale. Or tail.
(4 actors; 60 min playing time)
