Megan Finkeldey (Habedasher) has enjoyed years of performing since her youth, both acting and singing. Only recently has she realized her passion for dance, and is maniacal in her pursuit of frequent classes, some of which she is now teaching. Megan's most recent performance was in London just this past July (2003) of a one-act opera by the contemporary composer Judith Weir. Before that she has performed in Marin in shows such as "Fiddler on the Roof" and "She Loves Me."
A native of New York, Megan sang and toured internationally with the New Amsterdam Singers. She also had the good fortune of singing in Carnegie Hall on two occasions in a Mahler symphony and as one of the Blumenmadchen in the second act of Wagner's "Parsifal."
Megan is also licensed clinical social worker. She finds that the expressive arts provide a healing release and more meaning to her life.
